Heritage Building Improvement Grant Program
What is it?
- A City of London program that assists property owners in the Old East Village Commercial Corridor Revitalization area with funds to restore and preserve heritage features on buildings
- Qualifying property owners may be eligible for a one-time grant up to a maximum of $5,000 or half (50%) of the value of the eligible costs of the heritage improvements proposed.
What buildings are eligible?
- All designated Part IV Heritage buildings and Priority 1 and 2 listed properties located directly on the Dundas St. Commercial Corridor from Adelaide St. to Charlotte St.
Eligible Improvements may include:
- Interior and/or exterior upgrades that will improve the structures long-term appearance and usability
- Interior and/or exterior upgrades relating to the preservation or enhancement of identified heritage features
