When in the Old East Village one always has to watch for poets. You’ve seen the signs – now you’ll see amazing singers, songwriters and lyricists from across Canada mixing with the musicians and storytellers who call OEV home. Sounds like perfect harmony to me.
BUT it’s not just the artists who are warming up for JUNO WEEK.
Local businesses have caught JUNO fever and window displays and merchants are beginning to reflect the music in us and around us. Check out the store front reflections. Watch for the special events. The OEV is definitely ‘tuned’ in for JUNO participants and fans.
Take in Oscar and Grammy nominated artist Stephen Moccio and Mark Jordan at the Aeolian March 15th, look out for great Canadian LP's at ED Hair and Tattoo, check out the Potters musical display at the London Clay Art Centre or pick up a "new to you" guitar or amp at Boulevard Pawnbrokers or Strings Cafe!
