Don’t miss the Only in OEV Holiday Shop to WIN event this coming Saturday, December 10th from 10 am to 2 pm! Shop local in Old East Village (on Dundas St. from Adelaide to Charlotte St.) for a chance to win some exciting prizes! Join us for a scavenger hunt, surprise Gift Card giveaways, live music, culture tours, food samples, warm drinks, and more! Find some gifts on your list as you support local businesses this Holiday Season!
There will be an OEV scavenger hunt for clues that can be answered by exploring the independent businesses and organizations of Old East Village! The Scavenger Hunt locations will be announced on Saturday morning through DIG OEV and the sheet can be picked up at all participating businesses.
The first 50 people to participate in the hunt will receive a FREE gift bag with tons of quality Old East Village swag from Fire Roasted Coffee, soft flirt, Forest City Botanicals, a $10 gift certificate to an OEV restaurant and more! There will also be one surprise gift card handed out to a lucky customer at each of the scavenger hunt locations. Complete seven out of eleven scavenger hunt clues and be entered to win a grand prize valued at $550. If all 11 scavenger hunt clues are completed, get a bonus entry for the draw!
In addition, there will be a variety of art demos and cultural tours at the London Clay Art Centre, Banting House National Historic Site, and the Palace Theatre! Check out what happens behind the scenes and learn more about the cultural sites that make Old East Village so unique.
There will also be local musicians and DJs playing in Old East Village from 10 am to 2 pm, with locations to be announced shortly on our social media! The musicians include Noelle Francis, Ben Heffernan duo, Gerardtoodeetoo, Phil Kikuchi, Josh Hung, Charlie Weber, Fraser Teeple, and DJ Harina from OA(SIS). Drop by and hear some great local music while you shop and explore OEV!
