Fall has kicked off and we’re ready to celebrate with the next Only in OEV Fridays event! Come on out to the Palace Theatre Night Market on Friday, October 14th, from 5 to 9 pm, and join us for an evening of live music. Check out your favourite Punk Rock Flea Market and local Old East Village vendors, sip on warm drinks and tasty eats by Rebel Remedy, Artisan Bakery, and EatOA, and maybe even spot a Palace Theatre ghost or two! This event is completely free to attend and is first come first serve, so make sure to arrive early to catch a seat!
We are partnering with the Punk Rock Flea Market for a vendor pop-up, and there will be a vendor lineup with PRFM and Old East Village vendors with no shortage of local goods to check out. Vendors include mystical wares by Mystic Bookshop, records by Odyssey Records, art and beading by Flourish and Grow and Ugly Goods and Services by Alex Hann, Terra Corvid ceramics and art, Soft Flirt apparel, resin jewellery by Pixie Painthings, art by illustrator Jeremy Bruneel, Old South Barn Quilts, and Abbie Darling Customs custom jewelley and apparel. Food vendors include Rebel Remedy, Artisan Bakery, and EatOA.
The night will also feature a lineup of live music and local talent, including bands Jenn Marino and the Hearts and Heart Attack Kids. There will also be a Rocky Horror Show pop-in performance, so make sure not to miss the action!
In the spirit of the month of Halloween, make sure the dress to impress and dress up in your Halloween costume or your best ‘Punk goes Posh’ attire for a chance to win prizes! There will be a photo booth to capture the memories of the night. We can’t wait to see your costumes!
Additionally, there will be a Construction Dollars cash mob, so check it out and grab some dollars to support local! Get ready to have a hauntingly good time and we’ll see you there to celebrate what the neighbourhood has to offer!
