How long have you been in business? How many years in OEV?
Unique Food Attitudes has been part of London for 25 years. I moved to OEV 9 years ago.
What drew you to Old East Village? What’s your favourite part of the OEV community?
Location, it was in the central part of the city. When I opened my place, I felt like I belonged here. The community, friends, and neighbours are my favourite aspect.

What makes your business unique?
We are unique in so many ways. We specialize in Polish cuisine and are one of the only Polish restaurants in London. Our food is based according to my mother’s family recipes, including our desserts. Additionally, our recipes are featured in the Forest City Cookbook.
I hired a designer for our restaurant décor to create a stylish and welcoming environment. I also support local artists by displaying their work on the restaurant walls.

What’s your most popular menu item?
A popular selection is Goulash potato pancakes and dill pickle soup.

Can you share a fun fact about yourself that people may not know?
I am from Kraków Poland and moved to Canada 31 years ago.
