Amidst the hustle and bustle of the holidays, it's important to take some time to unwind and relax. Some would say that being surrounded by family and friends and consuming as much food as humanly possible is relaxation enough. True as that may be, many have experienced the strange limbo that is the last few days of the year when you don't really know what to with yourself.

For many people, heading to the horse races on Christmas or Boxing Day is a family tradition. So whether you're a total newbie or seasoned horse race attendee, definitely check out the many goings-on at the Raceway including a Boxing Day Brunch Buffet or New Years Eve Dinner at the Top of the Fair! The Market at Western Fair - 900 King Street
The Market will resume its regular hours on the Saturday and Sunday following Christmas (Dec. 28-29, 8am-3pm). With two floors of fresh, local produce, meats, cheeses, and baked goods, along with several vendors offering unique, handmade, and vintage goods, the Market can address all your New Year's Eve needs!
Enjoy OEV Breweries - Various Locations
We recently published an article dubbing OEV London's "Libation District" which featured many of the local breweries that contribute so much to our neighbourhood. For the new parents out there, try "Babies and Brews" at Anderson's happening on both Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Or enjoy London Brewing's final "Friday Night Live" of 2019 on Dec. 27 featuring local food and music. Then, before ringing in the New Year at Dundas and Sons or Powerhouse, hit The Root Cellar for some fine farm to fork fare and, of course, some tasty local brews.
So, as you can see, there's no shortage of things to do over the Holidays right here in OEV. No matter what you decide to see and do, this is a little reminder to be safe and enjoy all of the excitement this season, and neighbourhood, have to offer!
